What are the renovation hours in a condominium?

Answer

They are set by each development's by-laws and house rules, made and enforced by the MCST, not by a single national schedule. Owners must follow by-laws once enacted, and the MCST can impose conditions on renovation approvals. NEA directs residents with condo renovation noise feedback to their MCST. Ask the managing agent for the current renovation guidelines, permitted hours, deposit and approval forms before engaging a contractor.

From the RRD Field Guide, checked against the sources cited in Construction Noise and Working Hours in Singapore: NEA Limits, Sunday Rules, Condo and HDB Renovation Hours. General information, not advice for your project.

Sites within 150 m of homes or hospitals cannot work from 10 pm Saturday to 7 am Monday, or over public holidays, without a permit. Fines reach S$40,000.
